SISAR Alpaca Poncho Jacket with Hood for Women

The traditional Poncho from Peru is currently conquering the fashion world in newly interpreted versions. Ponchos have no sleeves and therefore offer maximum freedom of movement. They can be put on and taken off more quickly than a jacket and offer comfort without having to forego warmth.

The poncho jacket is made of 100% pure Baby alpaca wool, the most expensive Alpaca wool which costs over €60 per kilogram in its raw form. Baby alpaca is guaranteed not to scratch, it is as soft as cashmere. The hood and zipper mean that the model is more complex to manufacture, but you get a unique poncho that we offer as a one-off.

SISAR keeps you warm in all four seasons and at the same time ensures that you do not overheat. A property that we owe to the natural thermoregulation of alpaca wool. On warmer days you can combine SISAR with a thin top, and in winter a wool sweater does not restrict your freedom of movement, as the poncho jacket is sleeveless.

Alpaca wool naturally absorbs hardly any odors and also needs to be washed less often. You can wash alpaca wool by hand or in the wool program of the washing machine. Make sure to clean it gently at a low temperature and spin speed and use wool detergent, which is gentler on the fibers. Alpaca wool must not be put in the dryer or ironed, but must be laid out flat to dry.
